Dear Agnes and Family,
Thanks to Leona (Cernoch) Jones, I have heard about your loss and I want to be there for you. Last Sunday I attended Christ the Redeemer and later read Kenneth's ad in the Bulletin. What wonderful memories I relived about our 'apartment days'; when you and Junior came to our home in Brookshire to celebrate my Mom's 87th; and especially when my car overheated, leaving me stranded and Junior and Kenneth rescued me very generously. Like you, Junior was always very special in many people's lives. This Saturday Father David will offer the Mass for Junior and your Family. God always gives us the strength to keep on keeping on and be the 'steel magnolias' that wives are. Unless God has other plans for me, I will see you by Monday. Charles and I will always remember Alvin for his honesty in business and his willingness to service during festivals at church. He was a good friend that we had not seen in awhile but when thinking about him always had such good memories. We pray for peace of heart for Agnes and his children.

My condolences to the entire family. I have known Jr. for years. I first met Jr. when I was a single parent with three small children and struggling to survive. He always managed somehow to keep my old cars running over the years. And, I always said that if there were angels on earth, he was definitely one of them. He will certainly be missed. And I realize what a loss it is for his family. May God Bless all of you, and may God rest his soul.
