1940-2016
Anna (Anastasia) Learakos Villegas, 75, passed away on March 8, 2016, at Kindred Hospital Houston Northwest. She was born in Bronx, New York on November 26, 1940. Anna is preceded in death by her parents, Peter Learakos and Stella Carr Learakos and niece Karen Hooper. Anna is lovingly remembered by her daughter Dian Villegas Learakos and grandsons Zackary and Wesley Hertel. Other surviving relatives include in-laws Lena and Bill Boettcher, nephew Robert Boettcher, niece Lisa Boettcher Tharappel, son in law Kenneth Hertel, and relatives in Brevard North Carolina. She grew up in North Carolina and lived most of her young adult life as a Navy wife to Luis Elias Villegas who still resides in El Paso, Texas. She lived most recently in Houston Texas. Services will be held on Saturday March 12th at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral home in Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Magnificat Houses at Magnificathousesinc.org.
