Andrew Galloway Obituary
Andy graduated from Lyons High School in Convington, LA in 1942 and went on to LSU in Baton Rouge, LA. He briefly left LSU to join the U.S. Navy as a Radio Operator and served on the minesweeper USS Velocity during World War II. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1945 where he went back to LSU on a football scholarship where he excelled in his favorite sport. Andy graduated from LSU in 1947. Upon his graduation from LSU, Andy began working for Exxon. He had a long and successful career with Exxon and retired in 1986 after working all over the world as an auditor.
He is survived by his wife, Isleta "Skeets" Pelham Galloway of 65 years of marriage; son, Drew Galloway and wife Linda, daughter Sharon McCowin and husband Bill, daughter Cindy Bryson and husband Phil, and grand-daughter, Marissa Abboud.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 Old Humble Rd., Humble, TX. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel, Humble with Pastor Don Kidd officiating. Private graveside service at Rosewood Memorial Park.
In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made to Patriot Guard.

Jack and Felicie Rogillio, old friends from Sungei Gerong and Baton Rouge, send our sincere condolences. We have so many memories of our days in Indonesia and fondly remember Andy as a good friend. Skeets, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
