I will never forget meeting Neet and beginning my tutiledge under her as a geological draftsman. I was 21 and knew nothing of life but a more
interesting person I had never met.
Neet had been everywhere and
experienced so many things that I
was actually in awe of her. We
became such good friends. She
saw me through dating experiences,
marriage to my husband, Philip, and
later the birth of my first child,
Lauren. Although my family and I had moved to Florida, Neet and I have managed to maintain contact. She and Tina were both fun loving and full of life. Age had no boundaries as far as they were concerned. They were as young at heart and mind as anyone 30 years younger. I wiil never forget you, Neet, and the friendship we shared. My family and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to all your family and friends. God bless you and keep you, Neet.

Anita was a wonderful person. Lois and I lived right next to "Nit" from 1970 to 1978 and then only a few houses away from 1981 to 1986. A fine women with a great sense of humor. She was a dear friend. We will miss her.
We are confidant that a loving God will now care for Anita.

My name is Bill White and I am 48 years old. In the 1970s, I was a little boy living right next door to Tina and Nita on Denise Drive. We lived directly on the other side of their little white wooden fence. My parents are Bill and Lois White, now in their middle 70s.
Later in the early 1980s, when I was in high school (Memorial High School; class of 1984), we moved a few houses down the street, but still on Denise Drive.
Nita and Tina were the best of neighbors. My Dad would sometimes fix things around their home, little repair projects. We all sometimes helped them mend the white fence. They were full of fun, and always up for a Budweiser on the back porch and a few good jokes. They were both always kind to me, even though I was probably a bit of a pest from time to time. We moved next door to them when I was barely 4 yoa (early 1970).
I will remember Nita and Tina always. They were such a big part of my growing up, and learning what the word "neighbor" really means. It's a lot harder to find these days.

I remember all the great times we used to enjoy with "Nino" and Tina. Nino always made me laugh and I loved her bunches. So glad she and Tina and my Mom (Nino's) sister are all together now, I miss them all. Jerry & Kathy McEntire, Shelby, NC

We will all miss Nita's smile, laughter, and humble spirit. She also had a very giving nature. We can all feel comfort that Nita, Tina, and Suzie are now back together again with Jesus. We will miss the interesting emails and the Sunday night phone calls. We cherish the times Nita & Tina were able to visit North Carolina and the times we shared. These are all great memories.
We LOVE the pictures.
