ARTHUR LAROCHELLE Obituary

ARTHUR DAVID LAROCHELLE, a loving husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2010. He was born on May 22, 1923 in Skowhegan, Maine to the late Simeon and Albina Corriveau LaRochelle. Arthur served in WWII, receiving the Bronze Star Medal and later served in the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of the University of Houston and worked for Shell Pipe Line and Shell Oil for many years. He is preceded in death by grandson Richie Horehled.He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gladys LaRochelle; daughters, Pamela LaRochelle, Diane LaRochelle, Sandra Ward and husband Donald, son, David LaRochelle and wife Amy; five grandchildren, Matthew Horehled, Shawn Ward, Shane Ward, Kendall LaRochelle and Arthur J. LaRochelle; sister Teresa Ozog and nephew Andrew Ozog.The family will receive friends from 6:00- 8:00 Tuesday, Sept 14, 2010 with a vigil service at 7:00 at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at 11 am Wednesday, Sept 15, 2010 at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Spring, TX. 77379. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Houston SPCA 900 Portway Dr. Houston, TX. 77024-8022.

Ms Gladys Larochelle and families. You have my prayers and deepest sympathy for your loss. May Our Lord give you everyone strength and strong faith to help your healing. You all have I am sure many wonderful memories to share and remember about Mr Arthur, father, uncle, grandfather, maybe a brother and many many friends.
