Even though Arvis Townsend was my ex-husband, he was my friend. He was a person that I could depend on in my time of need. He was a great father to Isis & AJ. I know that Arvis is in heaven with God and this gives me confort at this time. Please keep all of his children in your prayers.

Mr. Townsend, what a wonderful person. Always willing to do for others before doing for himself. You will always remain in our hearts. We will miss your cheerful smile and encouraging words. I learned alot from you. Keep working out, one day we will train together again.

I remember Mr. Townsend as a person who always had a smile on his face and he always had an encouraging word for the kids who took Karate. He will be missed, but he has left behind a wonderful host of friends who loved and respected him. To the family don't be discouraged his compaionship will be missed but most of all remember the smiles he left us with. Our prayers are with you in your time of bereavement.
