Azalee Jackson Obituary

MRS. AZALEE FOSTON JACKSON was born to the union of the late Alex and Bettie Foston in Needville, Texas. She expired on (Tuesday) July 13, 2004. She retired from HISD's Laurel B. Peck Elementary after many years as a teacher and reading specialist. Azalee was well known for her generous and compassionate heart. She possessed strength, courage and faith that allowed her to persevere as a Christian woman. She was a member of Mt. of Salvation Baptist Church, Robert C. Jackson, Pastor. She leaves to mourn her children, Taylor, Lawrence and Robert Jackson, Mable Huff, Evelyn Arrington and Nevelyn Marigny, her brothers and sisters, Arthur, Alvin and Walter Foston, her sisters, Charittie Barnes and Jeanetta Probasco; grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews and two Godchildren. Visitation will be held on (Monday) July 19, 2004 from 7-9 P.M. at McCoy & Harrison Funeral Home, Funeral Services will be held on (Tuesday) July 20, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 4730 Pederson, Rev. Robert Jackson officiating, Rev. Thomas L. McGruder, Pastor. Interment Peaceful Rest Cemetery (Needville, Texas).
