1932-2021
Barbara Joan Klotz, age 89, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away on November 20, 2021. Barbara was born on September 16, 1932, in Houston, Texas, to Joe and Margaret Peagler. She married Layton A. B. Klotz in January 1955 in Houston, Texas. They were married for 23 years, the majority of that time spent raising their family in Clear Lake City, Texas, until Layton passed away unexpectedly. Barbara later met her second lifelong partner, Milton P. Ferguson, whom she cherished until his passing in September 2019.
Barbara is survived by her two children, her daughter Rhonda and her son Alan, as well as his wife Sara. She is also survived by her grandson Charlie, his wife Sophearry and their daughter Seraphina; her grandson Cody and his wife Sharon; her grandsons Conner and Andrew; her granddaughter Emily; and several grand nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.
We will celebrate Barbara's life with a memorial service at Forest Park Westheimer @ 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX, on Friday, December 3 at 11:00am.

Alan and Rhonda, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I remember all those days and nights in CLC when everything was new and not so grown out as it is now. I have the greatest memories of being at your home on Wavecrest, and being around both your mom and dad. We had the best time growing up together, with our parents there leading the way. Again, thinking of you both, my prayers are with you. God Bless.
