I knew Barbara through First Unitarian Universalist Church here in Houston.
We got to be "buds" when we discovered we´d both gone to St. Stephen´s Methodist (in Oak Forest) in the 1950s. And I got a kick out of seeing her drive her company pickup truck.
I was always happy to see her walk into the room.
