Benjamin Powell Obituary

Benjamin Franklin Powell, III, of Katy, was called home by the Lord on Monday, November 13, 2006 at home with his wife by his side. He is survived by his wife, Marianne Powell of Katy; his children, Dr. Bethany Powell of Galveston, Michael & Kimberly Powell of Dallas and Meredith Powell of Austin; and his brother and sister-in-law, Sam & Connie Powell of Bay City, Texas. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 at Living Word Lutheran Church, in Katy, where funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Aus officiating. His jovial spirit and selfless giving of time and energy will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. Peace, as he always wished for others, is now forever his. Those wishing to make memorial gifts may do so to The Learning Center at Living Word Lutheran Church, 3700 S. Mason Rd.
