It's been well stated that " You can't make old friends" and its true. You can, however, become reacquainted with old friends even after many years of lost contact. The opportunity occurred after 45 years when I happened to run into Beryl at the Cherry Hill JCC. We picked up where we left off following my internship at Parkview Hospital where he taught and recommended me for a residency position at what was then JFK Hospital on Stratford NJ.
He was a kind and witty human being. I remain grateful to have known him.

My sincerest condolences to Beryl's wife Arlene, daughter Amy and all of his family. I will eternally remember Beryl as my teacher, mentor
colleague and friend of over 50 years. I will retain thoughts of lunches with him and mutual friends in more recent times with stories shared and laughter. He will me missed greatly.
