As a very young man Bill taught me all there is to know about warmth and support. He was always great-hearted. The world will be a dimmer, smaller place without him. I join his family and close friends in mourning his untimely loss.

Bill was a friend to me in our school days and I remember him very fondly..his bear hugs and his huge smile...I am so sorry and shocked to hear of his death. He was always a little bit bigger than life and will be long-remembered.

There are so many memories...but they all make me smile. Bill was a gentleman, first and foremost. He was a true professional, and a good friend. I hope Bill's family knows that his SWA family shares in your loss and sadness, but we are grateful for the chance to have shared him with you.

I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling this morning. Bill was my best friend and brother throughout school. I knew that Margaret had moved to Arizona but had lost contact through the years. Please accept my condolences. Would you also give my email to Sam? This is a loss that will be felt by many, but especially you.

WHAT A GREAT GUY BILL WAS...I HAVE WORKED FOR SOUTHWEST FOR OVER 22 YEARS AND ONE OF THE THINGS I MISS IS INTERACTING WITH MY CREWMEMBER FRIENDS OF WHICH BILL WAS ONE. I SAW A GREAT DEAL OF HIM WHEN I WAS IN NASHVILLE MOSTLY AND WE ALWAYS SHARED A STORY OR LAUGH. BILL HELPED ME OUT MANY TIMES IN THE PERFORMANCE OF MY OPERATIONS AGENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND WAS ALWAYS FIRST TO OFFER TO LEND A HAND WHEN ANYONE WAS IN NEED. HIS SUDDEN LOSS IS HARD TO COMPREHEND. HE WAS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL AND ALL AROUND GREAT GUY AND I ASSURE YOU HE WILL BE MISSED BY HIS SOUTHWEST FAMILY ALONG WITH THOSE OF YOU WHO LOVED HIM AND THIS SORROWFUL FRIEND.

Beverly, I'm so sorry. Jeannine just called and told me. I have wonderful memories of you and Bill dating and the gorgeous salmon colored roses he used to send you! You've always handled life's bumps with such grace and dignity. I pray God will continue to hold you close at this sad, sad time.

Love and a hug,

Donna

I will dearly miss you my friend. We had many great times together and you were the big brother I wished I had. Your love of life and people is and will remain unmatched. I still find it hard to believe you are gone. Just last week we were watching the boys swim at your pool. You were so full of life and energy. The stories of your travels have taught me so much about enjoying our lives while we can. Christopher, Spencer and Pierce will be in Paris with us for the final "push back" of their Uncle Bill. Until then, rest. Au revoir mon ami.
