C.L. HARVEY Obituary
He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Angelina Rochelle Harvey, sons ~ Christian LeVon, and Christoff Le'Renz, daughter ~ Cara Lashae of Columbus, OH and grandson ~ Blake Moss of Columbus, OH, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many, many friends. Services will be held at Sunlight Baptist Tabernacle - 6319 Laura Koppe. Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 25, 2012, from 7:00 - 9:00p.m. Services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012~ Visitation will be held from 8:00 - 10:00a.m. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00a.m. Interment- Houston Memorial Gardens.

To both the immediate & the church family of Pastor C L Harvey- Precious in the eyesight of the Lord is the death of His saints. My heart grieved with you when I learned of your loss, Pastor Harvey baptized me, my brother & sister on an Easter Sunday 25 years ago @ First Baptist Church, under his leadership is where my spiritual maturity began. What a great theologian! I still live by the sermons he taught during his tenure in LR. May God send His personal Grievance Committee in that of His Holy Spirit to bring you comfort during your moment of affliction .

I express my gratitude to the soul of C.L. Harvey...In my time of acquaintance with him, I was afforded a scholarship from Sunlight to continue my pursuit of higher education... He thought enough of my endeavor to make sure he was in attendance the day I graduated from college...Once I acquired my degree, he allowed me to use my insight for his purchase of video equipment, in which I was also granted the opportunity to record his sermons, some of which are on YouTube...I must say that I got a lot of personal growth from his messages...I was also a member of the Pastor's Service Ministry there at Sunlight for some time, and it was a pleasure to have to seen him enjoy his anniversaries...May THE ALMIGHTY CREATOR have mercy on his soul, and though I wont be in attendance of any of the services I wanted to show my appreciation of his life...

To the Harvey Family, the word of God is true that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! We are sadden to hear about the passing of our dear friend Pastor Harvey who was a part of our family for 30 years since he was at Bishop College. Dad met him at a convention and encouraged him to attend Bishop and he did, shared Thanksgiving dinners and would bring his friends, he ran revivals,shared for our church every year for 28 years this year was the 1st year he missed but we will cherish the memories, the laughter of our son/ brother and the word that he blessed us with each time he came! Know that in the coming days God will strengthen and give you peace that surpasses all understanding and we rejoice and celebrate a life that was well lived! We are praying for the family and the church family during this time of transition! We're going to miss that big smile and that wonderful spirit!
