Scott, I continue to think of you and your family. There was a reason we connected at Medical City. I wish we could have met in happier times. I hope you and the kids are staying strong. Jennifer left ICU today and will be on the 9th floor for awhile. She then will go to Zale Lipshy rehab. Thank you again for all the support you gave me during that awful nightmarish period. Scott and families, I was very sad about Carla leaving us way too soon. She is truly an angel, and the only sense I can make of it is that God wanted her back. Carson, I enjoyed talking to you on the phone the other day, you definitely come from good stock. Scott, it was really good to see you the other night, regret that we didn't talk longer. If you want, let's get together soon to play golf, drink a beer, or just hang out. I can only imagine what you're going through, so please include me in your life if you have the time or inclination. If you don't already have plans for this w/end {Mem}, I'm thinking about meeting my brother Scott and a couple golf buddies at the River in New Braunfels. Please call me, 281-469-6718. Scott, I have just learned of Carla's passing and am full of shock and sadness. The world is a bleaker place with the absence of your precious lady but Heaven is rejoicing that she is home. scott and all those that feel the deep void that this tragedy has left, i am so very sorry for your loss. the time we spent at the 30 year reunion reminded me of how very special carla was. my brother and i had an awesome time with you scott at the night of the reunion in the parking lot, and were looking forward to continuing the party at tin hall the next evening. carla told us we had just missed you, so we spent a lot of time with her that night. my brother greg had commented on the way home, that he would marry that girl on the spot. he has a girlfriend and does not stray, it's just that carla made that big of an impact. a special angel has been taken away from even the ones that did not know her enough, which makes me so very sad for those of you that had her in your life full time. carla lit up every place she ever entered, and now there is not enough light to take her place. hopefully, scott, you and your family can carry the torch forward and keep her glow alive. i can't express how bad i feel for you all. thanks for the time you spent with greg and me. if there is anything at all that i can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask. love, scott hartwig....817-421-5682.......cell# 682-551-6463.

How sad I was to learn of the sudden passing of your wonderful wife and mother. We all have our deep faith knowing that she is with Our Lord and all of His Loving Family. But still, how we will all miss her fabulous smile and laughter. This is the hard part.

Dear Cosco and Myklebust Families,
I was deeply saddened when my mother (Betty Dunlap) called me, crying, on Monday morning. I had been asking about Carla's progress since the proceedure.
While I didn't know her very well, I've long held her in the highest regards. I recall a beautiful young woman driving a Z-28 Camaro and working at Champions Bank. And I recall Scott and Carla dating since way back then! And I've had the pleasure of seeing Carla in the capacity of mother and wife. A CLASS ACT!

I am Agnes Carlson's granddaughter. I visited with her Monday and she told me at that time about Carla. She told me that her heart was broken over the massive loss of this special lady. I didn't know Carla but wanted to express my heart felt sympathy to such a wonderful family that is so special to my grandmother. She was a very pretty lady and by the kind words written about her, I also feel that you can take comfort knowing that she is an angel with our Lord.

Carly, Carson and Scott: Please accept my deepest sympathies during your time of grief, yet while you celebrate Carla's life. I first met Carla when our kids attended The Banff School together. One of my fondest memories is of Carly's birthday party held at TGI Friday's and then on to the Haunted Woods. We parents were crazier than the kids.
I pray God's blessings on Carla and may he be with her always during her journey.

I could not believe what my Daddy was telling me tonight when he told me about Carla. I am so sorry. Just like the others that have written notes, I too, after all of these years, can still see Carla's beautiful smile and that sparkle in her eyes and hear her peaceful voice. Mrs. Carla is an amazing person and she is my 2nd mom and her loss will affect me for the rest of my life but i take comfort in knowing that she will always be watching over me. Carson, Scott, Carly I love you guys and will continue to be there for you and to raid your pantry :)

I can't put into words how sorry i am. I have shared so many memories with all of you and am so thankful for being able to grow up with, and become so close to such a wonderful and loving family!Carson, Taylor wants you to know that he will never forget all of the childhood memories that the four of us shared together and you all are in his prayers everyday! I only knew Carla for a short period but the time I did know her and share with her was very memorable. She was one of the happiest people I have ever met and who loved her husband Scott and kids dearly. They were her world.
