Mr. Vance was a man committed to integrity. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with him as I was called to serve as Program Manager for ten years. He modelled patience and love as a servant of the Lord. Rest in peace man of God.

I first met Mr Vance in the late 70's and immediately, I knew he was special. His love and concern for others was amazing. May God be with his loved ones in the days ahead.

The Georgia segment of the family always loved time with Carol (and Carolyn - and all the Texas clan). Our visits to Texas and Carol's visits to Winder GA will always be held as special times for us all. We are sorry none of us can attend the funeral, but we wanted to be sure and offer our condolences. A great man from a great family that will surely be missed by many, though his memory will carry forward in all of us.

I had the honor of knowing Mr. Vance through Bracewell. He was so personable and down to earth. (I loved that about him). What a great man he was and what a great legacy he has left for his family, colleagues, co-workers and friends.
Rest in Heaven, Mr. Vance, your work here is done.

I served in law enforcement and passed many high-level cases through the office of the best D.A. there ever was, Carol Vance. I attended his training and learned more about the law than I can ever thank him for; his influence shaped my career successes. He taught me what a D.A. needed to present and complete a case, and I followed that advice to the letter. I'm pleased to hear of his wonderful life and family. He was a good man.

Carol will be missed, especially in Angel Fire NM, where he joined us for tennis regularly each summer. Carol always had a smile, was respected and loved, as he touched the lives of many. As the news of his death is told this year, Carol's memories will be discussed over and over here in Angel Fire and in other visitor states. We all loved him.
