Not sure what to say?

Mr. Vance was a man committed to integrity. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with him as I was called to serve as Program Manager for ten years. He modelled patience and love as a servant of the Lord. Rest in peace man of God.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Y´all´s father was so amazing ... Such a gift to y´all... to Houston... & to the world he impacted ... May God´s amazing peace blanket y´all´s heart & souls during this oh so difficult time. Sincerely, Suzanne Tacconelly aka... Suzanne Pruitt

My sincere condolences.

I first met Mr Vance in the late 70's and immediately, I knew he was special. His love and concern for others was amazing. May God be with his loved ones in the days ahead.

The Georgia segment of the family always loved time with Carol (and Carolyn - and all the Texas clan). Our visits to Texas and Carol's visits to Winder GA will always be held as special times for us all. We are sorry none of us can attend the funeral, but we wanted to be sure and offer our condolences. A great man from a great family that will surely be missed by many, though his memory will carry forward in all of us.

So sorry for your loss Susan Whitfield

I am saddened to learn of Carol's passing. He was a dedicated public servant who was helpful to me over the years. My sympathies are extended to his family.

I had the honor of knowing Mr. Vance through Bracewell. He was so personable and down to earth. (I loved that about him). What a great man he was and what a great legacy he has left for his family, colleagues, co-workers and friends. Rest in Heaven, Mr. Vance, your work here is done.
