Carole Booth Obituary

Carole Rae (Goetzmann) Booth
1947-2021
Carole Rae Booth, nee Goetzmann, passed away September 19, 2021 from complications of cancer and kidney disease. She was born on January 12, 1947 and was a proud Houstonian & Texan her whole life. She married Richard Leroy Booth in 1965 and they got to spend the next 52 years together until he passed away in 2018.
Those two crazy love birds raised three children together while they worked full-time jobs and took care of countless other people. Carole was an incredibly loving and devoted mother. You could wake her up in the middle of the night to help you with homework or finish that history fair project. She brought gorgeously decorated cupcakes to class and always volunteered to help. She surrounded her children and the children of the neighborhood with food, books, movies, and music. She went to all of the practices and all of the games and she was forever her childrens' biggest cheerleader.
She retired from a career in Financial Services, where she mostly specialized in credit and fraud issues. All of her life, no matter where she worked or played or received care, she made fast friends. Carole was fun and chatty and she had a great sense of humor. She opened her generous heart as well as her home to all kinds of people. She will be profoundly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her three children Heather Torres, Ronald Booth and Robert Booth, and his grandson Ralph Booth. Services will be held at 2:00PM and a public visitation at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Forest Park Lawndale in the Grand Chapel.
