Rachel Alisa Beberman, born July 5, 1977, in New York, passed away on March 30, 2026, from complications of cancer.

Rachel drew strength and unwavering support from her partner, Madelyn Jackson. Together, they built a quiet, devoted life filled with love in Houston, Texas.

She found joy in simple, enduring pleasures — the waves at the beach, the calm of nature, volunteering for various shelters, caring for her animals, and the deep colors she loved most: deep purple and forest green. Rachel shared her home with Madelyn and their beloved cats, Dexter, Gracie, and Finney, who were her constant companions.

Rachel lived quietly but with conviction and independence. She earned a Bachelors and Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania with Magna Cum Laude. She approached life with thoughtful reflection and steady resolve. She worked with various Mental Health companies and facilities, helping others in need. Despite early challenges, she cultivated a life of thoughtfulness, independence, and inner peace; her strength remained steadfast.

She was born to Cindy Schnur, who preceded her in death in 2013, and Richard Beberman, and was raised by her mother and stepfather, Alan Schnur, who passed away in 2007. Her stepbrother passed in 2017, and her aunt in 2020.

Rachel is survived by her brother, David B. Reinfeld, and his spouse, Terry Miller.

She leaves behind a life quietly lived yet fully felt by those who knew her. Her love and strength will always be remembered.

A private service will be held.
