Carolee Martin Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Martin, Sr.; her mother, Mary Lee Sandlin; and her dad, E.C. "Cotton" Carter.
She is survived by her sons, Mitchell Martin, Jr. and his wife Cathy, Michael Martin, Sr. and his wife Cindy; daughter, Leisa Martin-Dyke; sisters, JoRene Stewart and her husband Don, Jenny Carter and her husband Gary; brother, Don Carter and his wife Jan; grandchildren, Mitchell Martin, III and his wife Leslie, James Martin, Michael Martin, Jr., Myles Martin, Mason Martin, Morgan Martin, Max Martin, Marshall Dyke and Mickey Martin; mother-in-law, Rene Chinn along with other relatives.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Forest Park The Woodlands. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM. Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in the Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Seek officiating. Entombment to follow in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.

To The Family of Carolee Martin, I did not know Carolee or "Bootsie" as you called her, but I wanted to offer my condolences to your family and to tell you how sorry I am to hear about your loss. May you find comfort in God and rely on him during this difficult time. Psalms 46:1 mentions that God is a refuge and strength for you during distresses.

What a very special person. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to know her and spend time with her many years ago. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
