I also worked with Carroll at Coors Central and South, along with Kent Robinson and Jim Hundley. He was one of the best athletes I have ever known, and had a wickedly funny sense of humor. When he and I and Bubba Blackburn visited the Coors Brewery in Colorado, he had us in stitches the entire trip! My deepest condolences to all his loved ones, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Batisa and Jess,

So sorry to hear about Carroll. It seems like yesterday we were on the golf course in Livingston with him claiming that no one could hit it in the same area code as he. Although its been years since you guys were in Livingston, Carroll stories are still being told. Connie and I send our sincerest condolences.

To the Bonneau family:
So sorry to hear of your loss. I grew up in Bellaire on Beech St. right down from Carroll's house. We both attended Maude Gordon Elementary, Jane Long Jr. High and Bellaire High. I have countless memories of spending the night at Carroll's house or vice-versa. I remember being chased by the Bellaire Police one night when we were caught wrapping a house. We played all the sports together at old Feld Park or the Bellaire Gym or the Bellaire Little League Park. Carroll had a tremendous sense of humor and was the best all-round athlete I have ever known, and I've been in, or around sports all my life. He was also one of my best friends along with Mike Capps and Lynn Brooks while growing up in Bellaire. What magical and cool days those were. We drifted apart as we grew older but I imagine he was still the same old Carroll who was my friend. Once again my sincerest condolences.

Deeply distressed to learn of Carroll's passing. We grew up together in Bellaire playing basketball and baseball but lost track of each other after I went off to college. I sincerely regret we were not able to link back up after I moved back to the Houston area from overseas. May God bless Carroll's family and all his close friends who will profoundly miss his love and humor.

I knew Carroll at Bellaire H.S. and played against him in City League Softball in Houston...What a phenominal athlete! If there is a game being played in the great beyond, I'm sure he is involved. My profound sympathy to all family members for your loss.
