Titi was simply the best and the brightest.Knowing her and her generous spirit was a history of the modern era in itself.A star has been extinguished, but when I think of my late friend,I smile.

This is a sad and true 'passing of an era' moment for many of us at Northtwood University who knew and loved Titi. Her enormous early and insightful spport of the university's founders and then-fledgling national arts programs, her frequent hosting of Term in Europe students, and her delightful welcomes to so many of us who became special friends over the years will never, ever be forgotten.

Few in this world had Tit's joie de vive, her faithful commitment to the causes she carefully chose and believed in, and few have enjoyed more good friends who in return cherished her friendship in return. She was so bright, so full of ideas, so interested in others. The world has lost one of its wonderful 'stars'. (And one of the persons my husband Bill and I most enjoyed... every Titi story we are recalling this morning makes us smile...and sometimes even laugh, which is hard to do at this particular moment.) Our thoughts are surely with Titi's family and her many friends all over the world.
