Charlene was born in Ponca City, OK to Charlotte and Francis Fronkier. She passed peacefully at home at Parkway Place in Houston, TX. She was happily married for 70 years to Neal Arthur Onstot from 1951 to 2022. She is survived by three daughters Rene'e Clark, Jamie Tharpe, Courtney (CeCe) Prudhomme and four grandchildren.
Charlene was a longtime member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. She was active in Alpha Delta Pi sorority, Charity Guild of Catholic Women, and volunteered at her daughters' schools. She was an avid reader, traveler, bridge player, and musical theater lover.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wed. Feb. 26 with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home 13001 Katy Fwy. Houston. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Thur. Feb.27 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church 11720 Joan of Arc Drive. A reception will follow in the Community Center.
