Christian Weirich Obituary

Christian A. Weirich Jr. Born February 7, 1926, died peacefully in his home on March 11, 2007, surrounded by the family he dearly loved and to whom he devoted his life. He was a self-made man in both his business and his personal life, his generosity touching the hearts of everyone who knew him. He started his own pest control company in 1958. After passing the business to his daughter and son-in-law he spent the next twenty years pursuing his passion for antiques. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 56 years, Barbara Hilburn Weirich, sons Thomas and John, daughter Debra and husband Ronald Richburg, granddaughters Amy Richburg Rosas, Christina Richburg Crandell and husband Adam, great-granddaughters Claire and Madelynn Rosas. The family wishes to thank Dr. Cesar Bravo, Parkinson's Center at VA Hospital, American Hospice, and his hospice caregivers Pam, Lynn, Joseph, Shirley, and Melody. Please honor his twenty year struggle with Parkinson's by donating in his name to the Houston Area Parkinson's Society, 2700 SW Freeway, #284, 77098.
