It´s oct 2 2021, a year since LN Skipper passed that I just read. Chris and I go back to 1964 and I was 5 years old. We would go on to be best friends for some 40 yrs. From Galveston and catching horned frogs at Chris´s grandmothers. From going hunting in Longview. From going to Dallas watching the cowboys. From walking to a pharmacy down the street from the galleria in Houston at 7:30 am to get fries and a cherry coke. The stories and memories of 40 years of fun. I do miss Chris my oldest and best friend. He did know God and God now knows him. God Bless

I was chris's Hair stylist for at least eight years we became close friends. He actually agreed to be my model in a hair compation, we had a great time. We lost touch after I left the Mission Bend area. Its really hard to describe the person chris was with one word! The majority of the times He came to see me. Were the days he needed to be cheered up, sometimes he would come in twice a week just to have someone to talk to. I never really got the chance to tell him that on some of those occations I needed him, He wasn't only a great talker but, also a good listner. My heart broke when I seen his picture in the paper. it really hurts that I didn,t get to say good bye.
