CLARA SOLIS MIRELES

CLARA SOLIS MIRELES, 81, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 18, 2010 at her residence in Galena Park. Mrs. Mireles was born on August 12, 1929 to the union of Agapito and Severina Solis.She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Martha; and her brother Genaro Solis. Clara is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years Lino Mireles Gomez; their children Lino Mireles and his wife Selena, Jesus Javier Mireles and his wife Alma Letitia, Maria Elena Cantu and her husband Ernesto, Maricela Serna and her husband Rene, and Betty Tamez and her husband Juan Alberto; twenty five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jose Solis and his wife Angelita and Erasmo Solis and his wife Martha; sisters, her twin Fortina Solis, Juanita Solis, and Severina Solis. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and many friends that she considered her extended family.Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday October 20, 2010 at Crespo Funeral Home Broadway Chapel from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Thursday October 21, 2010 visitation will continue from 12:00 Noon until 9:00 PM with an additional Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.The funeral procession will depart Crespo Funeral Home Broadway Chapel on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 10:15 AM for the funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1705 Eighth Street in Galena Park at 11:00 AM. The Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
