Clovice LaFleur Obituary

CLOVICE (CLO) LAFLEUR, 88, a longtime resident of Houston, died Sunday, December 19, 2004. Mr. LaFleur was born in DeQuincy, Louisiana on November 8, 1916 to Robert Lavasso LaFleur and Maude Mae Herrin LaFleur. He married the former Eva Mae Russell on November 16, 1935 in Oakdale, Louisiana. Mr. LaFleur worked for Uncle Bens Converted Rice Company for 20 years. He was a Real Estate Broker in the Almeda area of Houston for 25 years, and was a member of the Albert J. DeLange Masonic Lodge #1403 AF & AM. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Eva Mae LaFleur; a daughter, Patricia Jennings; a son, Clovis LaFleur; a sister, Mary LaFleur; a brother, Robert L. LaFleur; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 9:00 A. M. until 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, December 22, 2004, in the Memorial Mission Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, followed by funeral services at 10:00 A. M., with the Rev. Jack Mann officiating. Entombment will follow in Memorial Mission Mausoleum.
