Daniel Taylor Obituary
1950-2015
Daniel Lee Taylor went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 24, 2015. Danny was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 11, 1950. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Nowlin Taylor; brother, David Earl Taylor. He is survived by his brother, Jim Frank Taylor and wife Janice of Houston; nieces, Sharon Taylor, Jennifer Taylor; nephew, David Taylor, Jr. and wife Kerri, all of Houston and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Gethsemane Lutheran Church Building fund or a charity of your choice.
Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30 pm, Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Pat H. Foley & Company. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, August 28, 2015 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 4040 Watonga Blvd, Houston, 77092. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, 77039.

I am so sorry to find this obituary. My name is Carolynn and I was once Danny's sister in law. I have been trying to find him and Jerry Cope for years and years with no avail. I finally came up with this information and I am very sadden to find out this way. I loved them both! God Bless and I know he is in peace as well as Jerry.

I am so sorry to find this obituary. I lost contact when he moved from Twickenham Street many years ago. I have tried to locate him many times. I have known Danny for over 40 years.

I am very sorry to hear about Danny passing was a good friend and will miss him. I just found out about him passing or I would have been at his funeral. My prayers go out to all of his family and friends
