So many years have past since your passing but the bruises on memory remain. What should have been never happened and for years I have thought what would have happened if we were together. Despite the time passing I remain saddened by your passing and what should have been

I am still in shock over Danielles passing. So many amazing memories fill my head when I think of her. She was such a fun person always making me laugh and being silly. I remember the days of laying out on the docks, driving around with the T-tops off singing and dancing in the car to Lenny Kravitz and NWA. She was so smart and beautiful. She had such a great sense of adventure. I wish we had kept in touch after college so I could have known the woman she had become. It saddens me to think her smile and laughter are no longer filling this world. I pray she is spreading her love and joy in heaven. She is truly missed by so many here. Much love to everyone that knew her and loved her.

Today is the 10th anniversary of Danielle's passing, it is with profound sadness to this day that I think about that loss. You lived your life like so few have an opportunity to do so, free yet treated those people around you with great kindness . There is no question that you're in heaven I can only hope that they have a good collection of Dwight Yoakam music and allow you to have a pink snowboard . I hope you're at peace and I know for a fact that you will make the people around you laugh as you did for so many here . You will always be missed

It's been a very long time, I hope you remember me. We shared a relationship a long time ago, when we were very young-our early twenties- I remember the first time I ever saw you,I thought you were the most beautiful girl in the world- it was,for me, love at first sight. We ran into eachother about a month later- and we were inseparable from that moment on. We traveled around from state to state in your green BMW, looking for a place to live so you could snowboard- We settled on Sedona, AZ. Remember the first moment we saw Sedona, we were like, this is the place!! I know we did not live there for very long, and when we returned to SLC our lives went down different paths, but I never forgot about you, EVER, I just want you to know that, and that I loved you very much. You changed my life in so many ways, for the better! Please, Beautiful Girl, think about me once in awhile, and know, I am thinking about you!

Hi D,

I just wanted to stop in with you. I went past the tree you helped me with a few times today. I actually instruct people there now, funny, at least I have a lesson to pass on to others, "it's the one staring you in the face that gets you".

You always helped me make sense of life, reminding me not over-analyze things that I had no control over. I could do with a dose of that right now. Send me some in my dreams would you? x.x.x

I miss you. You know my ears and eyes are open for you.

Am typing from a phone in a van on tour passing through Savannah, GA. Still stunned from last night... Lenny Kravitz came on and I started wonderin' what ever happened to the amazing Danielle Lueken from college. So I Googled. Of course now I'm beside myself wonderin' what the heck happened, but more importantly wish to send a huge hug and respects to her family, and let y'all know that 12-13 years later her wonderful impression is still reflected in all the comments I've read herein. She and a great friend of ours and myself were peas in a pod for a period at SHSU. If the family would like, when I return home to Seattle in November, I know I have a couple great old college photos I'd be glad to share. Feel comfortable contacting. If it matters, my name was Buddy Stevens then. Best Wishes.

We sincerely thank everyone for all the prayers and support we have received for the loss of our beloved daughter. Each and every sentiment is deeply appreciated.

As beautiful as Danielle was on the outside, she was even more beautiful on the inside. No one knew the real Danielle like her Mommy and Daddy; a girl who had a gift with little kids and dogs, a girl who was extremely giving and generous, and a girl who had an unbelievable sense of humor.

Our love for Danielle will never end. Our hearts are forever broken. God Bless.

I would like to thank the Lueken Family for the warmth and kindness they extended to me during this difficult time. I would not have managed otherwise.
Danielle was truely the most wonderful women i have ever met and not a moment passes when i do not think about her. I miss her deeply. Her beauty was obvious but her personality was infectious and her sense of humour unique and un-matched. I have attached some pictures to share that i hope people will appreciate.

Even though I do not know you, my heart aches for you, as I lost a daughter who was 35, and I know how much it hurts! Our only hope is that she is with Jesus now, whom she loved with ALL her heart and life, and that He will re-unite us one day with her in Heaven.
