Sue,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very sad time. I will miss Darell greatly. We had many of conversations on a daily basis. I can still hear his chuckle as he walked to my desk to pick up one of his print outs. He was always in a good mood and with a smile on his face. He was so proud of his granddaughter and we would often trade stories as our granddaughters are about the same age. I'm going to miss you my friend!

My family has known Darrell and Sue since our sons were school mates at Sammons Elementary, Boy Scouts, and throughout high school and beyond. Darrell has always been a great person and willing to help anyone. His smile and positive outlook in life made him unique. Yet it has been some time since we spoke, his personality never changed. The world could be changing, but he was always in great spirits. May God Bless the Speirer Family during these times and be with them in the future.

Sue,
Darell's presence will be greatly missed in Engineering at Baker Hughes. I can still hear his laughter as if he was still here talking down the hall to his coworkers. Please accept my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers remain with you and the family. God bless you all. Rest in peace, Darell.

I enjoyed our conversations greatly. Darell was always a happy and smiling, even when things weren't going together they way there were supposed to. We could always count on him to make sure they did go together correctly. What an awesome person. He will be greatly missed.

Sue and family-
Darell has been called to a greater reward… I know that he will be watching over us all.
I pray for you and your family, I pray that you celebrate the life you had together and hold onto those great memories, I know I will.
I am so thankful I had the opportunity to reconnect with Darell last week after so many years. I know it was a greater power reaching out to us!
I first meet Darell in about 1968, Darell was always a happy guy, always smiling. My time with Darell was just a moment in time but they were good times, great memories… we water skied, road dirt bikes… did just about anything we could find to do outdoors!
I conveyed Darell’s passing to many of his classmates and co-workers at Texas Instruments, they all send their condolences.
May God bless you and keep you strong, in this time, and forever…
