Darrell Belch Obituary

DARRELL THOMAS BELCH, born August 13, 1956, passed away on May 13, 2009 at the age of 52. He is survived by his mother, Darrelene Streller; brothers Tim Streller, Steve Streller, and Kirk Belch; sister-in-law Susie Streller; niece Julia Streller; and nephews Timmy Streller and Joey Streller. Darrell's passion was the outdoors and there was nothing he enjoyed more than being with his brothers and friends while hunting and fishing. He loved American and Texas history and became very knowledgeable on the subjects. He was also an avid gun collector. He adored his niece and nephews and enjoyed watching them grow up. We will miss Darrell very much. The family would like to welcome friends to a gathering at 2058 Brentwood Drive, Houston, Tx. 77019 on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 from 4pm to 7pm. In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggests a donation in Darrell's honor to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.

It is with sad regret that I say goodbye to my good friend and confidant Darrell... I may not have known him so well, but I knew the best of him and he knew me - he helped me to be a better person, and I will pray to him to keep helping me...

He always said his heart was bad, but
I always knew it was still especially beautiful.

I love you like a hero Darrell
And I miss you so much.

Love Mikey

Darrell and I met on-line but not in person. For all those years, he was wise in his advice and compassionate in his actions. A good guy. I am going to miss him...a lot.

My sincere condolences to Darrell's family. I first met Darrell in the 70's in high school. My Brother Allen Holman, passed away in 2004 and Darrell was his friend as well. Rest in Peace, Darrell.

To all of Darrell's family,
We are all so sad over his passing. From the first day we met him, he was a great friend to us. He loved all of his family so much and talked about all of you everytime he came to our shop. We always enjoyed talking and visiting with him. He was not just a customer to us, but someone that we had great respect for also. He was a real gentleman. All of our workers are also very saddened by this loss, and we will all miss him very much. It will be hard to get used to not seeing him anymore.
You have our deepest sympathy

Darrell and I used to go fishing and hunting. He was like a brother to me. He was a very generous man who would drop everything at a moments notice if I needed anything, and did on more than one occasion. He will be greatly missed!!!
