Darrell C. Donaldson, Jr., born in Austin, Texas to Darrell, Sr. and George Ann, passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 81.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 5308 Rutgers Ave., in West University, with a reception to follow at the Ragin' Cajun on Richmond. Friends are encouraged to wear fishing shirts or beach attire in celebration of his life.
Darrell graduated from North Texas State University in 1968 and married Nancy Roseland.
He later founded Hot Shot Delivery, growing it into one of Houston's largest courier services.
He is survived by his children Eric (Danielle), Mark (Linden), and Melissa (Jeff Fantuzzo); grandchildren Liliana, Charlotte, Samantha, Emily, and Adam; and sister Paula. He was preceded in death by his parents.
