Although I've not seen Davy in many years, it is with deepest regret that I learn of his passing. We went through school together, playing baseball and football as team mates and friends. My family traded at his Dad's Gas station and his family at my parent's restaurant; we were good friends. I pray God's blessings for his family as I thank God for having known him and what a fine individual he has been all his life.

Dave and I shared an office for three years in Venezuela. You get to know someone pretty well after all that time. He had a gruff voice, but a soft heart. He was and still is a heck of a great guy. Dave, you'll be sorely missed, and always remembered.

To Salud and the Evans family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you.

I met Dave briefly in Kuwait when he was employed with Stone & Webster but the memories live on. It was an honour knowing him. He was a wonderful person and I would like to offer my deepest condolences to wife, Salud.

In memory of a wonderful friend, Dave. We shared many wonderful and laughter filled evenings on your last assignment, in, Sao Paulo, Brazil. We promised to be friends for life, and will be there for Salud always. We will miss you, and we will always remember our last time together, when you both came and stayed with us for Easter this year in Rio. We will always carry the picture of you, Dave, making the guacomole in our kitchen, and the fun night we had.

Our love to Salud and Daves family

I met Dave in Venezuela. I remember that I liked him then, but when we came back I really got to know him. We traveled back and forth to South Texas together for a project. On those three hour drives I really go to know Dave and began to appreciate what a kind soul he is. At Parsons, I respected his abilities. I will always remember his sense of humor and his devotion to Salud. I will miss Dave.

I met Dave during an assignment in my native Venezuela, and since then we became unconditional friends. Dave was a great co-worker and over anything a friend that we will always remember.

Our respects to our mama Salud and all of Dave's family.

Although I lost track of David in the early 80s, I have always tried to find out about him from our old FOS buddies. We had so many great times together. His passing is a real shock and sorrow to me. He was a great friend to me for many years. Your young friends are always your best. May God's comfort be with his family and friends.

Your old friend, Dan Hamill
