David was my Stepfather and My sons "Gaga". He played with him everyday and took him to see the traaackters. He was taken from us too soon. I hate to see my mom without him, she loved him deeply and I too for the way he loved my mother, us kids and our family. I wish we could have kept him here just a bit longer. The old song says that we will understand it better by and by. But I know that right now is not by and by. I will miss you lots David.
Love,
Stephanie

I have not seen David for over fourty years and read about his death today and felt like writing a few words to his family and friends. We grew up together in the old east end neighborhood of Idlywood. David and Carla were childhood friends and lived on Merry Lane and I Lived on Sylvan Road His passing brought back many wonderful thoughts of him, about baseball that we played together with all the neighbor kids. Those were great memories we lived in a great neighboorhood .

To David's family,
Please accept my condolences during this difficult time.David and I grew up several houses from each other on Merry Lane in Idylwood subdivision. He was three years older than me, and he taught me how to play baseball in the 1960's. He was the 'older kid' who always looked out for us. Please be sure Mr Carl Stallwworth is told of this message.David talked to my Mom several years ago and obtained her Pasta Sauce recipe. If he made the sauce for ya'll, that is where it came from.May God give you strength to endure his passing.
