David Von Tersch Obituary

DAVID MICHAEL VON TERSCH (Little David), 18, died December 31, 2005 in Denison, Iowa. He was born November 30, 1987 in Houston, Texas, and was the child of Teri L. Zepeda and David E. Zepeda, M.D., and Dale Von Tersch and Carolyn Von Tersch. He was a resident of Sugar Land, Texas and Denison, Iowa, attending school at Dulles Elementary, Dulles Middle School,. And Dulles High School, in Sugar Land, and Denison Schleswig High School in Denison, Iowa Our most beloved son and angel, was an avid athlete who enjoyed baseball, football, and basketball. He was also a passionate sports fan and a fanatical sports statistician who loved the Houston Pro Teams and the Texas Longhorns. He was a natural born social leader. A very loving son, brother and uncle, with a huge heart and loving attitude, he was adored by all who knew him. He was adept at making people laugh. He was strongly family oriented and known by everyone for his beautiful smile. Survivors include: Teri Zepeda, Dr. David E. Zepeda, Dale N. Von Tersch, and Carolyn L. Von Tersch; (siblings): Nathan Von Tersch, Shane Zepeda, Paul Zepeda, David A. Zepeda, John Zepeda, Cynthia Zepeda, Thomas Zepeda, Robert Zepeda, Katie Malkey, Allison Malkey, Melanie Malkey; (grandparents): Verta Mae Von Tersch, Charles Tollette, Frances Tollette, Annie Bell Tollette, and Guadalupe Zepeda; (godparents): Larry and Kathy Von Tersch; and over one hundred aunts, uncles and cousins from all over the country. Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 7 pm until 10 pm Tuesday January 3 in the Chapel of the Settegast-Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, January 4, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 115 7th street in Sugar Land, with Interment to follow in Forest Park Westheimer
