I am so sad to see that Denise passed, and so long ago. I was roommates with Denise in the late 70s. We worked together at Norris of Houston at the front desk. What a force she was. If Denise was in the room, the room was a brighter place. Her sense of style and her confidence was apparent at first glance. I lost touch with her over the years but thought of her often. I looked her up last night and was very saddened that she'd passed. She'd experienced some tragedies and went on to live a noble life. It seems she left behind two lovely daughters. I am certain that she loved you as passionately as she loved life. And I am also sure that she is still with you both. Blessings to you all, her friends and family. She was one of a kind that the world could stand to have more of.

Dear Kendall & Kendel,
I met your mother in 1989 when we both worked for Continental Airlines. We became very close friends from the start. At the time I was already married to Bryan and she was still dating your dad, whom she loved and adored. We did almost everything together, some would say attacked at the hip. Soon I had my two children Austin and Ashlee and then came you two, Kendall then Kelsey. I was at the hospital for both births,I still can see the big smile on her face and hear the excitment in her voice. She LOVED you both so much!!Our families did a lot together from just hanging out to spending long weekends at the ranch. I spent a many weekends with you girls, Austin and Ashlee while your dad and Brayn went to the ranch. We spent a many weekends at Chucky Cheese together. She was the most caring and loving person, always having a good time. She always wanted the best for you both. After 12 years I moved away and kept in touch by phone. I did get to visist and spend some time with her again a few yeas ago. All she could talk about was her girls and how much she loved them. As life took me away to live in another state I thought about you both including your mother quite often. I lost touch with your mother but talked about her often with Ashlee, always wondering how you guys were doing and remembering all the great times we had together. Bryan, Austin, Ashlee and I loved your mother so much. A mother's love is forever;and always know she is always with you both. I have some wonderful pictures of you both with your mother that I would love to send if you want them. We all love you girls and miss you both a lot. Kim Underwoood

Querida Negrita (That was her nickname between alot of her close friends.)
How many great memories I will carry with me for the rest of my life. With your smile and your kindness you were somebody I will love forever.
Years ago my dad was living in Houston and Denise invited him to a birthday party. That was the day my dad met my mom. 2 years later my parents got married. Thanks Denise, all my brothers, my sister and myself exist because of you. I remember growing up with Denise in my life as a kid, she would come visit us all the time in Mexico city we also got to take some great trips to Acapulco. As I grew she became more that a aunt to me but a friend. In these last years I got to spend great moments such as my daughters birthdays with her, a day at chuckee Cheese with her daughters, new years and many more great times.
We had many great late night talkes and EVERY SINGLE TIME I talked to her she would tell me how much she LOVED her 2 daughters. And how they were her world. She would also tell me all there achievments and how proud she was of them. My prayers go out to those 2 angels.
Adios Negrita linda te quiero mucho.
Que descanses en paz.

Dear Kelsey and Kendall,
I met your mother when I was 16 and she was 18 (she said she was older and when she got older she was younger)she lived with my family for 2 years, she was Pinky Tuscadero from Happy Days and she would mimic and snap her fingers just like her. My Mom, Dad, three brothers and sisters all loved her. We both liked to dance and she was a really good dancer. I worked with her at Ninfa's, that was the place that everyone in Houston was going in 1977 we were hostesses (that did not last to long). I used to cut hair on whoever would let me and your Mom asked if I could cut her hair like a mushroom and when I was done I told her it looked like a Turtle we laughed and Denise became a Hair Stylist after that and I never cut her hair again. I moved to Mexico and she would come and visit my family. She worked in the car business and would always go back and forth from Houston to Mexico. We were in Mexico one day and she wanted to change careers and I told her to get a job for Continental she loved to travel and a friend from high school helped her get the job. Later on she got her Real Estate Lic. I helped her with her first sale. I was the makeup artist at your mothers wedding and she loved your father and when you were born she cried for joy for both of you. Your mother helped me get a job at Continental years later because she knew I loved to travel, isn't life ironic.
I know that your mother is in good hands and God is a loving God and she will not suffer anymore. I spoke to your Mom a few weeks before she died I know that if she were here she would want the best for you and you to go on and be happy and go down the right path.
I pray for you and your family and if you ever need me please do not hesitate to call.

Love, Germaine and Family

My prayers are with the family of Denise Santoy. I attended middle/hg school with Denise. She was the most popular, fun, and joyful person in school. I will always have her close to my heart. I have a daughter that I named Denise after Denise Santoy. I always like Denise' name. I thought it was cool and unique just like she was. May the lord comfort her family during this difficult time.

Denise sure did have alot of school spirit back then. They even mispelled her name.

I was saddened by the news of Denise. Denise was my best friend when we were in elementary school all the way to high school. Denise moved to another country when we were in the 10th grade. After I learned that she was in Houston, I tried several times to locate her but was unsuccessful. She was the best, fun, loving friend I could have had. Denise was always happy and gave me hope. She was very popular and one of the best dressed girls in school. She was very colorful in her style. I missed her tremendously when she left high school and I will continue missing her now. One day we will meet agin. I, too, would like to someday meet her daughters, I bet they are just as beautiful as their mother. Sincerely, Rosemary Garza Fernandez

Rest Safetly in His Care

There are many things in life
That we cannot understand,
But we must trust God's judgment
And be guided by His hand,
And all who have God's blessing
Can rest safetly in His care,
For he promises safe passage
On the wings of faith and prayer.
