I did not personally know Donna but she did go to the same high school as me; Northbrook. She worked with a couple of people who also went there. I wanted to express my deepest sympathies to the family. I have heard nothing but terrific things about Donna. God bless all of her family and close friends. I hope that your faith in God and your cherished memories of Donna will gently guide you through your grief.

To all of Donna’s family

I’m so sorry to hear about Donna, it was such a pleasure to have meet, worked and know someone as pretty, sweet, kind, and who believed in working hard and helping others as Donna did, and there is not many people like her. I know that she will be missed my all her family and friends and especially by her husband and children. I have been praying and thinking of you all and will continue to do so in the days, months and years ahead. I had the pleasure of working with Donna and Maxine at Lummus for almost 17 years.

I hope that all her family and friend will always remember to tell Danielle & Dylan what a great mom and person Donna was and will always be and with the love and their family and friends they will be just as special as their mother was.

It’s hard to know why God would take some one so special at such an early age, and it will be months maybe even years before we will understand why, but we just have to remember what the bible teach us; that God has a reason for everything that happens. I know that theirs been things that happen to me over the years that I did not understand when I was younger why it happen or why it did not happen, but now that I’m older some of them I understand others God still has not showed me the reason why, but I just have to have faith that God had a reason.

In Romans 8:28 God says.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

In Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. There is a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

In John 3:16 it tells us how God loved us so much that he gave his only son, so we could have everlasting life. All we have to do is have faith and believe what God tells us.

May God be with you in the days and months ahead

Love in Christ

To the family of Donna Thaxton, I didn't know Donna, but we would exchange smiles in the hallway of the Preschool where Danielle and Dylan attended. I could see it in her face that she was not well, but she would always smile and greet those that greeted her. May god bless the family and friends and know that you are in my prayers. Dickie, you are a man to be praised, you took very good care of Donna. God loved her best and will not let us down.

So young so pretty, life is not guaranteed, each person alive today does not have the answer to life's mistery, but for this sister that question is no longer a mistery, she is with GOd.

Maxine, there is no greater bond than that of a mother and child. I pray for your strength at this time and always. It was a pleasure to work with both you and Donna at ABB Lummus Global. May memories of Donna and the love of family and friends carry you, Donna's husband and children through and beyond your grief.

I worked with Donna and Maxine at ABB, Donna and I worked together on the NKNK Project. She was such a delightful person, always smiling and having nice things to say and so full of energy. Hate to hear about all she has been through. Prayers to her family on their loss, but please keep in mind - Donna would not want you to grieve, for she is in GOD's hands now and smiling down on all of you, pain free and everloving. She would want to see your smiles shining back at her.

God Bless you all.
