Aunt Bebe was very special to Steve and me. She helped us get our wedding rings. She was the first to know! Besides that....the Sundays and the bar-b-ques. Great times with a very special person. She will always have a special place in my heart. I can hear them all up there now!

Bebe and I started our weekday mornings together as I always stopped at her home to have a cup of coffee before heading to work. We would chat for thirty minutes or so. She would tell me what she had planned for the day. She was pretty much regimented. Monday was house cleaning day, Wednesday she usually spent with her mother, Thursday was beauty shop. Tuesday and Friday were her days to gad about. We always had lunch together on Thursday - she would stop at Doyles and get us a Ruben sandwich coming from the beauty shop.

She donated many hours as a volunteer for Sam Houston Hospital. She never missed her day for volunteering. She was involved in a grief program for those who had lost a loved one - which she enjoyed being a part of - especially the week-ends at Camp Allen.

She really enjoyed her "Fritz" - the little minature dashchund. She always took him for a walk - weather permitting - she would stop by my house and visit - she and Fritz.

Bebe was a joy to know - always full of fun - and jokes. It was so sad to see her gradually slip away from us. I know she will be welcomed by her loved ones on the other side.

Janice, Russell, Nicole and Aaron have been great friends for nine years. Janice and I have shared much over the years.. most recently, the health of our parents. Janice, you have always been there to help. Unfortunately, we both lost our parents within two days of each other. My prayers are with you and your family during this time. I know what a great lady your mom was from the stories you shared with me over the years. Nicole and Aaron will miss her terribly. We will continue to comfort each other in the coming months. My love to your family.

I couldn't have asked for a better, YOUNGER sister to grow up with. Never ever had any disagreements with only 18 months between us. We were in tune with everything around us and I loved her very much. I am sorry that my condition, a bad back for the past six months, would not permit me to travel. My thoughts will be with you and your family. I'll keep in touch. Love Uncle Bob

There are many, many things I remember about my sister-in-law BEBE. She never left home without making up her face -- even to go to the grocery store. She and I drank iced coffee together during the summer time. We each have homes on Lake LBJ and we used to yell "HAPPY NEW YEAR" to each other across the Lake at Midnight. She loved anything Oriental. Her home was furnished with a lot of Oriental items. She was an outgoing, friendly person, and she truly loved to shop. I missed her when she didn't recognize me anymore. We lived in the same Village in Houston; she moved to the nursing home - I moved to Austin to be nearer to my immediate family. Heaven will enjoy having her there.
