Doug was a good friend; we played football, baseball, and wrestling throughout our grammar school and high school years. A terrific athlete and great student. RIP good friend.

RIP ole pal, we spent a good deal of time together from little league thru high school; ends on the football team, baseball champions, and I could never beat you at the 157 wrestling weight class. I will never forget you.

Doug and I were close friends in Highschool. Both of us were ends on the football team, wrestled the same weight class and played baseball together since we were 10 years old (North Stars and Kiwanis). We were in the same classes in school. Doug was a smart gentleman, a terrific athlete, and generally good guy. The last time I saw him was in Houston in the 80s when my dad had his first heart operation. Doug and I were very close to Coach Davies and remained that way after HS. Again RIP my good friend from Beverly Dr.

Dee and family,

Jim and I were so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I wish we had spent more time together, as the few times that we did, I'll never forget how much he made me laugh with his unforgettable pictionary skills!

Dee and family, my prayers are for you and your entire family as we all mourn the loss of a truly great man...someone that I looked up to my entire life. Doug had it all and at the same time was able to lift me up during a couple of tough times in my life with his smile and encouragement. He will be sorely missed by many many people.
He is sitting with Jesus now and I am sure, already making plans for the future of us all, with the same encouragement he was well known for here on this planet...thank God for the life of Doug Hale...Amen.

Although we have never met one another, we have been in telephone contact for nearly 30 years. Doug was more than a financial advisor to me; I thought of him as a good friend. I will miss his kind and cheerful voice.
