I was so sad to hear about your passing Mr. Wilkie. You were one of the few teachers that believed in your students and made them believe in themselves. I can still remember your wit and humor in Jazz band at HBU. My brother Ruben and I, will forever be greatful. I have continued the tradition of music and have even now passed it on to my own children. You would be proud of us.

I had the pleasure of studying with you Mr. Wilkie for four years while attending HBU. I will always remember the knowledge and expertise you shared with me and the fun memories of playing with you in the jazz band. Thank you for being a great inspiration to my music performance career as well as becoming a music educator.
