Edward Hilligoss Memoriam
03/22/1954 - 07/18/2023
Edward "Ed"Allen Hilligoss died on July 18, 2023 from glioblastoma at his home in Houston.
He was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, graduated summa from the University of Missouri at Rolla School of Mines, and worked as an engineer and analyst for Exxon for 37 years. Ed enjoyed bowling in retirement. He treasured his 300 rings, but most of all, he loved his friends from league. Ed will be remembered as a steadfast and kind man by many, and especially as a loving grandfather to his granddaughter, Audra Firestone, who died of cancer shortly before he.
Ed is survived by his wife of 49 years, Denise, his daughters Emily, Elizabeth, and Carrie (Firestone), his parents Edward and Gayle Hilligoss, and his sisters Susan (Genova) and Jeanne (Dula). A private memorial gathering will be held in Kansas City by his family.
