I'm in complete shock, I thought this man was truly invincible. I will always cherish and keep in my heart everything you have taught me Dr. E. Through our many days working and riding together, you always taught me something and kept me laughing. You will truly be missed. (House Call Doctor's)

Dr. Mendelson,
I didnt have the chance to go back and thank you again for allowing me to do my externship with you. Such a great teacher,Doctor and just a great person. I was pregnant and he took me with him for a delivery and a c-section. To top it off he let me drive his Lexus back because he was too tired! He took us out for lunch to try fried pickles! Thank you, may you rest in peace.

Dr. Mendelson was a great doctor, employer, and my friend. He was misunderstood at times but had the biggest heart and would do anything in his power to make you laugh. My family and I will miss you and continue looking for your car speeding down I-10. Rest in peace my friend.

I have great memories of eddie coming to Chicago for both my bar mitzvah and that of my sons. My mom loved Aunt Faye's family and so did we in Chicago. Eddie came to my office with my mom when i was a young attorney. (and doctors did not much like visiting lawyer's offices). my condolences to my Toronto cousins.

So sorry for your loss.. I loved working with Dr. Mendelson at the hospital and on occasions I would work a shift in his clinic .. He was a good man and loved to tell jokes. May he rest in peace .

...During the time Edward and I were engaged to marry in 1989 - I drove him lickety-split each time he received
the call that it was time to
deliver another baby.
...He let me assist in the delivery room once and that treasured memory lives on.
...We visited Renee and her amazing food empire in Canada.
...I loved helping him manage his two ob-gyn offices and marvelled at his work.
...Thank God he was in my life!
