Dear Raye,

I was so very sad to read of Ed's death. He was a very good friend, and everyone who knew him was so greatful for his friendship. He was a tremendous member of the Breakfast Association, and was there almost every Wednesday morning at River Oaks for our weekly meetings. I remember the good times at our annual Christmas Dinner-Dance. Every member, I know, joins me in sending you our deepest sympathy. Ed was a great friend. I will miss him so very much.

My deepest regards to you with my sincerest sympathy.

Dear Raye,

I have many fond memories of the years I worked under Ed's leadership as my Manager. He reminded me of a big teddy bear where he sometimes seemed gruff but really had a heart of gold. I've known of times when he would hear of an employee's financial need and he would take money out of his own pocket to help them through a difficult time. He was a good man and I know your loss will be great

especially after losing both your sons. I will be praying for you during this most difficult time.

In deepest sympathy,

Trini Mendenhall
