Elizabeth (Bettie)
Orline Lathrop Blake, went to dance with the King on June 4, 2012 at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Thomas M. Blake; children Thomas, William, and Robert Blake, Elizabeth Salter; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2012 at Earthman Resthaven. A funeral service and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2012 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery.

I've known Bettie a couple of years and I'm thankful that I did get to know her. She was a considerate and kind person and I know she was proud of her children that she and her husband raised so well. She loved all of her family so much and when she spoke about them you could see it her eyes and smile at how proud of them she was. She will missed by everyone who knew her. My sincere condolences to all of her family.

Grandmother Blake,

So many words fill my mind when thinking of you, compassion, integrity, strength, class, just to call out a few. You welcomed me from the start into your family and as my family grew so did your open arms. You never once forgot a birthday or anniversary, and the conversations we had I will treasure all my life. We are all blessed to have had you in our lives, may you dance for eternity.
