Elizabeth Schreiber Obituary

Elizabeth Schreiber
10/27/1935 - 09/06/2025
Elizabeth Ann Schreiber (affectionately known as Liz) passed away unexpectedly at her residence on September 6, 2025, at the age of 89. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden passing and will forever hold her memory in their hearts with profound love and enduring affection.
Born on October 27, 1935, Liz led a life defined by devotion to family, enduring friendships, and a zest for life. She was loved and cherished throughout her lifetime by her beloved husband of 67 years, Robert Schreiber, and their children: Linda Johansen (Jamie), Peter Schreiber (Carrie), Chris Schreiber, and the late Susan Schreiber (d. 2013). Liz will also be remembered by her six grandchildren and one great-grandchild: Michael Johansen, Rachel Johansen, Alex Schreiber, Ryan Schreiber (Cecilee), Courtney Thompson (Walter), Daniel Schreiber, and great-granddaughter Alana Thompson. She is also survived by her brother Leo Griffin and cousin Margaret Griffin.
Liz will be remembered for her vibrant personality, sparkling blue eyes, quick wit, and deep affection for books, films, and the art of quilting. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, and her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She will be profoundly missed.
