Sinisi
Eugene M. Sinisi, Houston, TX. Eugene ("Gene") M. Sinisi, age 85, of Houston, Texas, passed away April 16, 2011. He was the beloved husband of the late Ita J. A. Sinisi. Gene is survived by his children: Nuala Sinisi, Ethna (Richard) Piazza, Stuart (Sue) Sinisi, and Shona (Dennis) Bascon; loving grandfather of Laura, Shelia, late Angela, Megan, Rachel (Steve), Jacob, Sinead and Breandan. Gene was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. After graduating from Purdue University, Gene settled in the Midwest, and during his career at Amoco (now B.P.) the family moved to Texas. Gene was preceded in death by his siblings, Madeline Sinisi, John (Wanda) Sinisi, Gilbert Sinisi, and Jeanette (Al) Pierro. Gene is survived by brothers-in-law Stuart (Shelia) McLaughlin, Bob (late Moya) Bigler and sisters-in-law Shelia (Lee) Asseo, Jean (Thomas) Burns and Eileen (late Jack) Schuster and many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives. A loving father, Gene took pride in his children's accomplishments and enjoyed spending time with them. He was an active member of the Hampton community where he enjoyed an active lifestyle with daily activities such as swimming, walking and playing cards with friends and family. Gene will be missed by all who knew him. A Memorial will be Friday, April 22, 2011 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at The Hampton, 2929 Post Oak Blvd., Houston, TX.
