Eunice Fusilier Obituary

MRS. EUNICE FUSILIER, RETIRED NURSE, (74) One of God's most Precious, Loved, Cherished, Appreciated, Treasured Mother, Grandmother and Caregiver caught the Holy Flight to heaven. Her plane departed Houston, Texas on Sunday, March 25, 2007 and arrived in Heaven thereafter. She was greeted by her husband (Phillip Fusilier), son (Larry Hill Sr.), Mother (Gladys Brown), and father (Alta Smith Sr.) and many close friends and family. Born in Layette, La, God blessed Alta Smith and Gladys Hill Brown on December 14, 1932 with a wonderful daughter who became a blessing to so many people. She was the first black nurse to work in Pasadena Texas. She was the founder of the Twenty One Ladies Social and Charity Club. Her passion expanded to children. She opened a Daycare Center where she started raising funds for children. Eunice is survived by her 5 daughters, Michelle Hill, Phillis Ward, Asia Bush, Daphine Fusilier, and Pamela Fusilier. Her grand-children Nikki Hoodye, Samatha Hill, Larry Hill, Kadetra Hill, Roman Fusilier, Tiffannie La-Salle, Brittannie La-Salle, Kevin Bush, Megan Merriweather, Gordon Fusilier and Joshua Fusilier, and her 6 great grandchildren. Her wake services are as follows: Mc Coy and Harrison Funeral Home 4918 Martin Luther King Blvd 77021 April 9, 2007 6:00 P.M. -9:00 P.M. Her funeral Services are as follows St Francis Xavier Catolic Church 4600 Reed Rd. April 10, 2007 10:00 A.M.
