Faye Dunaway Obituary

FAYE MORGAN DUNAWAY, 88, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2008 in Houston, TX. She was born July 28, 1920 in Cairo, GA and married Kennieth D. Dunaway on October 25, 1952 in Panama City, FL. Faye was preceded in death by her husband and "Love" of 34 years, Col. K.D. Dunaway, USAF, Ret., her sister, Jimmie Lee Morgan Emerson, and a brother, Charles Morgan. She is survived by a loving brother, Paul Morgan and wife Faye (Florida Faye), her niece, Paula Morgan Lovett, her nephews, Joe Morgan and wife Dana, and Richard Morgan all of Tallahassee, FL, James Michael Emerson and wife Rose of Dickinson, TX, John Russell Emerson and wife Monica of Wadesville, IN, Will Dunaway and wife Cathy of Fort Worth, TX and their respective families. Faye and Ken visited the world together in honorable service to our country, made many friends and touched many lives in their extensive travels. Each of our lives were blessed and enriched by the warmth of her heart and her unselfish love. Triumphant the hearts are the lives you touched. May you rest now, in eternal peace, our dear and beloved Faye. The family extends their sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Tranquility Personal Care Home for their attentive and loving care of Faye for the last 2 1/2 years, to the staffs of AMED Hospice and Grace Hospice of Texas, and especially the personal care services provided for many years by caregivers Leorna Newsome and Helen Tarvin. In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests that memorial contributions, "In Memory of Faye Dunaway," be directed to either of these organizations for the most valuable and worthy services they provide in palliative care of our loved ones and the comfort and support extended to their family. Faye will be laid to rest with her husband following a graveside service that begins at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2008, in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
