Fedora Williams Obituary

Williams
Fedora Sherouse Williams God found fitting that Fedora Sherouse Williams be granted eternal rest from a life well lived on April 23, 2011. Her earthly life began in Shreveport, Louisiana on March 27, 1930 as the third of six children born to Earnest and Ellena Sherouse.
Fedora confessed Christ and was baptized at an early age and after moving to Houston, served many dutiful years at Good Samaritan Baptist Church.
After learning the highly competitive restaurant business while working at the Lincoln Drive Inn, Fedora opened "Dora's Burger" at 4214 Kelly in 1963. It became a northeast Houston landmark due to her ingenuity, business smarts, and devotion to her valued customers.
Fedora was an exceptional business woman whose generosity and kindness kept loyal customers returning for 30 years. Services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011, @ New Canaan Baptist Church- 13219 Winfern. Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00a.m. Funeral Service will begin @ 11:00a.m. Interment- Brookside Memorial Park.

Grandma,

My heart, my soul, my joy of life. My every existence of being. There will never, ever, be another woman in my lifetime that will be as grand as you. You were a Grand Woman! A special type of a Lady who would catch anyones eye when you walked thru the door. You held you head up strong and high for all of us until God came for you. You gave so much of yourself to & for all of us and I Thank You for every blessing minute. I will always carry your spirit with me everyday until we meet again in Heaven! I Love You so Dearly and Miss You sooooo Much!! "I will always be your baby!" Chanthia Wooten Guillory.

Aunt Fedora... Wow I am so sorry that I did not get a chance to say Good Bye, you will always be my favorite Auntie and I know that you did not get a chance to come to Maryland to see my six babies and help me take care of them, but I know that you can now see them from Heaven. My dearest cousins I pray that God will continue to keep all of you close and continue to look out for each other, that was always a concern to her. I love you all and I am praying for you and you also please keep me and my household in prayer. Always in Love--Cousin Sharon.

Isaiah 40:28-31
Be encouraged knowing that I am here for you and your family. We'll all miss "mom" but, we should also remember the good times and cherish the fond memories, love never fails.
