1929-2019
"I have managed on my own since before I was grown. The decisions for my family were the best I knew to do. Shared a smile with everyone I met. I've lived a great life, one with no regrets."
Mr. Felton Harris, Jr. entered into Eternal rest April 25, 2019.
His life will be celebrated Monday, May 6th, 10:00 AM at Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church, 7817 Calhoun Rd. Visitation will be prior to service beginning at 9:00 AM.
In God's care he leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Lori Gale Barlow and Ariana Lyn Harris; grandchildren, Rev. Kerry W. Shelton and Derrek J. Barlow (Shanae); six great-grandchildren and many other dear relatives and friends.
His beloved wife, Mrs. Melina Granger Harris, preceded him in death.
Interment will be at Houston National Cemetery at 1 PM.

Felton is still missed at our dealership. He was part of our family. We loved seeing him almost everyday. He treated us ladies in the office with the upmost respect and like his own children. We miss you Felton, you are still always with us everyday.

Our beloved neighbor on Candleshade has transitioned into Heaven. He will certainly be missed by all of the neighbors. Lyn, May God bring you comfort and all that you need during this difficult time. Hold on to God's unchanging hand, for He will never leave you alone. Praying for you and the family. May God grant you Peace during your darkest hours.

We will always cherish the memories of our neighbor, Mr. Harris. Having his family across the street was a BLESSING from God. All the way back from 1968, the Harris' are the epitome of family, friends and neighbors. Throughout life, we have been Blessed to know Special people; Mr. Harris was that Special person. Celebrate his life with joy, knowing that his life touched the lives of many who will always cherish his memories. We will always hold his memories in our hearts!

RIH Mr. Harris, our next door neighbor growing up on Candleshade. Mr. Harris, his wife Melina and their daughter Lynn were the welcoming committee when we first moved into Cambridge Village and were like family to us...Condolences to Lynn and the rest of the family.
