We are so very sorry for your loss. Michelle and I loved Mr. Dixon and we saw him our father. Tyler cryed a lot on Sunday when we were informed of Mr. Dixon's passing. We will pray for you all and we know that Christ is there for you all. We love you all so much and keep Christ close.

TO THE FAMILY: God will be your comfort and strength and you will feel his abiding presence as you go through each day. I pray that God will grant you his peace as you go about your day. I pray that you are comforted by the loving memories of your father. God made the choice to call His child home, because at 'Home' is where He could nurture him, heal him and tend to him the best. May God be you refuge.

I grew up with the Dixon children at Mt. Vernon. I will miss my friend. Everytime I come to visit Mt. Vernon he was the first smiling face I would see. My prayers are with all of you.

Our prayers are with you in the loss of Mr. Dixon, but, having been members with you at Mt. Vernon UMC, we know that he was a man of God. Therefore, in expressing our sympathy we also say celebrate his life for he strove to set a good foundation and be a good role model for all who knew and loved him.

Greetings My Strong Queen and Family!
He walked gently, yet boldly among us. We were privileged to have had the opportunity to have been in his presence.
We thank God for the GIFT of the life of Mr. Floyd E. Dixon, Sr. He will be sorely missed. The twinkle that sparkled in his eyes when he was on "his" "mission(s)" has now become that "thing" I will cherish the most about him for the remainder of my life span. Nothing was impossible to him.
While we all shared some of his many Emmaus sojourns, this one, too, we share with him.
Each experience provides a taste of but a few dishes from the banquet of life.
Peace Within. Joyonya!!

I knew Mr. Dixon through my job in the late 80's through early 2001. He was always a perfect gentleman - kind, courteous and polite. He was definately one of a kind. My prayers are with the family.
